[The two birds being: 1) relieving frustration, and 2) getting back in shape after recent events made him laze around too much.
So he's training. Again. Thankfully it's not as violent as the last time you might've found him at it, but he's used the fact that the girls were occupied with Beryl and Sapphire is sleeping to go out and get a good workout, and now he's gone to practicing hits and dodges. The dummy's back, in a better state than last time.
He's not caught up in it as much as last time so he'll probably feel anyone approaching]

Don't know any Belle. I was the only kid my age in town. You mean Araragi? She and her friend Makomo were good friends of my mom. They taught me everything I know.
