Thread 5: Two birds with one stone (quietblack)

[The two birds being: 1) relieving frustration, and 2) getting back in shape after recent events made him laze around too much.
So he's training. Again. Thankfully it's not as violent as the last time you might've found him at it, but he's used the fact that the girls were occupied with Beryl and Sapphire is sleeping to go out and get a good workout, and now he's gone to practicing hits and dodges. The dummy's back, in a better state than last time.
He's not caught up in it as much as last time so he'll probably feel anyone approaching]

Yeah, Pokabu will be mad at me if he knows I got cold and didn't let him out. It really tires him out though...

Not all that hard to do. Just gotta know your limits. [His expression gets a little grim here.] Got Yanappu out of a situation like that... His old trainer loved Pokemon, but she couldn't handle too many at a time... Yanappu was being neglected... I tried to give her some tips, but she gave him to me instead. Said he was starting to distrust her and that I could take better care of him... [Shrug]

Had to catch her the hard way...
Well, she was my first. I'd just gotten here and it was my first time really dealing with pokemon... [chuckle] It's kinda scary in a way, when everyone is a trainer and could trash you without any trouble...
And yeah one of your doubles helped me catch her, but I hated hurting her...

It's not weird. Pokemon bring that side out of mmany people. [He smiles and scratches his head.] Not sure I'd be able to do it. Haven't managed to actually catch a Pokemon yet.
